Sunday 11-23-08

Hike to the top of “Old Boney”. Justin, Andrea, Dave, Miriam, Wendy, Bernadette, Alisa, Kanan. Myself & Dave wore our 3 day assault Packs with 50# worth of gear inside.

We left at around 8:20 am towards the peak. It took 3:36 Mintes to the top with a 30 Min break at the old cabin site while we waited for a few of our people to arrive. Once we reached the top Dave and I continued across the valley to explore some of the sandstone formations. We did a bit of rock climbing before returning back to the peak for our return trip. By the time we hit the bottom and reached our cars we were all tired and ready for “the Alamo”.
